Responsible Sourcing & Supply Chain Policy

Elrock Jewels
Last Updated: September 2026

At Elrock Jewels, we believe that fine jewelry should be created with consideration not only for beauty and craftsmanship, but also for the people, materials, and communities connected to its creation.

Elrock Jewels serves customers directly through finished and custom-made jewelry. Our responsible sourcing approach therefore focuses on the diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and other materials that enter our jewelry-making process.

We seek to source these materials through legitimate and responsible channels and to work with suppliers and sources that share our expectations regarding ethical business conduct, human rights, and responsible sourcing.

1. Our Responsible Sourcing Commitment

Elrock Jewels is committed to taking reasonable steps to understand and manage risks associated with the sourcing of materials used in our jewelry, including:

  • Natural diamonds
  • Lab-grown diamonds
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Platinum-group metals, where applicable
  • Colored gemstones
  • Other materials incorporated into our jewelry

We seek to obtain these materials from legitimate sources and expect the parties supplying materials to us to conduct their activities responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.

Where appropriate, we may request supporting information or documentation concerning the source or supply chain of materials used in our jewelry.

2. Diamond Sourcing

Elrock Jewels offers jewelry featuring both natural and lab-grown diamonds.

For natural diamonds, we do not knowingly source diamonds that we have reasonable grounds to believe are associated with the financing of armed conflict.

We seek to purchase natural diamonds through established and legitimate supply channels and expect our sources to follow applicable requirements and recognized responsible diamond-sourcing practices.

For lab-grown diamonds, we seek to work with established sources that accurately represent diamonds as laboratory-grown and provide appropriate product information where applicable.

We clearly distinguish between natural and lab-grown diamonds in our product offerings so that customers can make informed purchasing decisions.

3. Conflict Diamonds

Elrock Jewels does not knowingly support the trade in conflict diamonds.

We expect the sources from which we purchase natural diamonds to take reasonable measures to prevent conflict diamonds from entering their supply chains.

If we become aware of credible information indicating that diamonds supplied to Elrock Jewels may have originated from an unacceptable source, we may request additional documentation, investigate the matter, suspend further purchases, or discontinue sourcing from the relevant source.

The supplied policy similarly places significant emphasis on preventing diamonds associated with armed groups and conflict-affected regions from entering the jewelry supply chain.

4. Precious Metals

Elrock Jewels uses precious metals such as gold and silver in the creation of our jewelry and may use other precious metals depending on the particular product or custom order.

We seek to obtain precious metals through legitimate commercial sources.

Where appropriate and reasonably available, we may consider information provided by our suppliers concerning the origin, processing, trading, or responsible sourcing of precious metals.

We do not knowingly source precious metals where we have credible reason to believe that their extraction or trade is directly associated with serious human-rights abuses, unlawful activities, or the financing of armed conflict.

5. Colored Gemstones

For jewelry containing colored gemstones, Elrock Jewels seeks to purchase stones through legitimate and established sources.

Because gemstone supply chains can vary significantly by material and origin, the level of information available regarding individual stones may differ.

Where sourcing concerns are identified, we may request additional information from the relevant source before purchasing or continuing to purchase the material.

6. Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas

Elrock Jewels recognizes the increased sourcing risks that may arise in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs).

We seek to exercise appropriate care when materials are known or reasonably suspected to originate from or pass through areas associated with armed conflict, serious human-rights abuses, illegal mining, corruption, or other significant sourcing risks.

Depending upon the circumstances, enhanced review may include requesting additional information concerning the material's origin, supplier, transaction history, or sourcing practices.

Where a significant risk cannot be reasonably addressed, Elrock Jewels may decide not to purchase the material or may discontinue sourcing from the relevant source.

CAHRA-related due diligence is also a central component of the policy you supplied.

7. Human Rights & Ethical Business Practices

Elrock Jewels supports respect for internationally recognized human rights throughout the jewelry supply chain.

We do not knowingly source materials from sources where we have credible evidence of involvement in serious abuses, including:

  • Forced or compulsory labor
  • Child labor
  • Human trafficking
  • Torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment
  • Serious or systematic human-rights violations
  • Widespread sexual violence
  • War crimes
  • Crimes against humanity
  • Genocide
  • Financing or supporting armed groups through illegal activities
  • Bribery or serious corruption
  • Other serious unlawful conduct

Where credible concerns arise, we may investigate the matter and determine whether additional documentation, corrective action, suspension of sourcing, or termination of the sourcing relationship is appropriate.

These categories closely reflect the human-rights and conflict-related risks identified in the supplied policy.

8. Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

Elrock Jewels takes a risk based approach to responsible sourcing.

Depending on the type of material, source, geographic origin, available information, and identified level of risk, our review may include:

  1. Identifying the source supplying materials to Elrock Jewels.
  2. Reviewing available business and sourcing information.
  3. Requesting sourcing declarations or supporting documentation where appropriate.
  4. Considering known geographic or material-specific risks.
  5. Reviewing information regarding the origin of diamonds, gemstones, or precious metals where reasonably available.
  6. Investigating credible sourcing complaints or concerns.
  7. Requesting clarification or corrective action where appropriate.
  8. Monitoring a source where an elevated risk has been identified.
  9. Suspending or discontinuing sourcing where a serious concern cannot be satisfactorily addressed.

The nature and extent of due diligence may vary according to the circumstances and level of identified risk.

9. Documentation & Transparency

Where appropriate, Elrock Jewels may request or retain records relevant to the sourcing of materials used in our jewelry.

Depending on the product and material, these may include invoices, supplier declarations, diamond reports or certificates, material specifications, provenance information, transaction records, or other commercially available sourcing documentation.

The availability and level of provenance information can vary between materials, stones, and supply chains. We therefore do not represent that complete mine to finished jewelry traceability is available for every material unless expressly stated for a particular product.

10. Custom & Made to Order Jewelry

A significant part of Elrock Jewels' work involves custom and made-to-order jewelry created directly for our customers.

Materials for a custom piece may be sourced specifically according to the customer's requested design, diamond or gemstone specifications, metal choice, budget, and other requirements.

Our responsible sourcing principles apply to materials purchased for custom orders in the same manner as materials used in our other jewelry.

When specific certification, diamond origin information, or other documentation is important to a custom order, customers are encouraged to discuss those requirements with us before the materials are sourced.

11. Responsible Sourcing Standards

Elrock Jewels supports the principles of responsible mineral sourcing reflected in internationally recognized due-diligence frameworks, including relevant guidance developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

We also recognize responsible business practices and guidance promoted within the jewelry industry, including standards associated with organizations such as the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

References to such standards describe principles and frameworks that may inform our responsible-sourcing approach. They do not imply that Elrock Jewels holds a particular certification or membership unless we expressly state that certification or membership separately.

This distinction is important because the company in your supplied document specifically states that it is an RJC member. That company-specific claim should not simply be transferred to Elrock Jewels.

12. Addressing Sourcing Concerns

If Elrock Jewels identifies credible evidence that a source or material presents a significant responsible-sourcing risk, we may take appropriate action depending upon the circumstances.

Such action may include requesting further information, seeking supporting documentation, requiring corrective measures, temporarily suspending purchases, or discontinuing sourcing from the relevant source.

Our objective is to identify and address material risks while continuously improving responsible practices within our supply chain.

13. Reporting a Concern

Customers, employees, suppliers, and other interested parties may contact Elrock Jewels if they have a genuine concern regarding:

  • The sourcing or provenance of materials used in our jewelry
  • Conflict diamonds
  • Human rights concerns
  • Forced or child labor
  • Ethical business practices
  • Supply chain due diligence
  • Bribery or corruption
  • Other potential violations of this policy

Reports should contain enough information for us to reasonably review the concern.

14. Ongoing Review

Responsible sourcing is an ongoing process.

Elrock Jewels may periodically review and update this policy as our business develops, our sourcing practices change, applicable requirements evolve, or recognized jewelry, industry standards are updated.

We may also review individual sourcing relationships when we receive credible information indicating an elevated responsible-sourcing risk.

Our Commitment

At Elrock Jewels, our goal is to create jewelry that customers can purchase with confidence.

From an individually selected diamond to a custom made piece created for a special occasion, we aim to combine craftsmanship with responsible business practices and thoughtful material sourcing.

We will continue working toward greater transparency, accountability, and responsible sourcing throughout the materials supply chain behind Elrock Jewels.
